About Us

About us

At Bahari Carbon Partners, our journey is rooted in a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, forged in response to the critical challenges of our time. Established under the leadership of our CEO, Sebastian Esko, our Norwegian-based company was founded as a dedicated response to the urgent battle against climate change, sea pollution, sea life death, and the vital importance of mangrove ecosystems.

Bahari Carbon Partners has a specific focus on Africa, recognizing the continent’s unique environmental and socio-economic needs. With ongoing projects in Kenya and expansion plans into Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, and various other African countries, we aim to be at the forefront of blue carbon initiatives in the region.

Our mission is to empower communities through carbon credits, ensuring that blue ecosystems not only thrive but also uplift livelihoods, as we believe in the intrinsic link between a healthy planet and thriving communities.

Our vision is a future where thriving blue ecosystems empower communities, forging a harmonious balance between the well-being of our planet and its inhabitants.

Social responsibility

At Bahari Carbon Partners, social responsibility is at the heart of our projects. We understand that our commitment extends beyond environmental conservation; it encompasses the well-being and empowerment of the communities we work with. Our projects are designed not only to restore and protect vital coastal ecosystems but also to uplift local communities. We prioritize the creation of sustainable livelihoods, access to quality education, and heightened environmental awareness. We believe that true sustainability is achieved when environmental stewardship goes hand in hand with the prosperity and resilience of the people who call these coastal regions home. Our unwavering dedication to social responsibility reflects our belief in the interconnectedness of environmental health and human well-being, ensuring that our impact leaves a positive and lasting legacy for all.
